The Knoxville Borough Records contain two volumes of minutes (1893-1926), three volumes of ordinances (1877-1926), and one print of a map of the borough made by William McClurg Donley, Borough Engineer (printed Jan. 1915).

The Borough of Knoxville was incorporated in 1877 and annexed into the City of Pittsburgh in 1927.

The Knoxville Borough Records are arranged chronologically.
Custodial History
The volumes of meeting minutes and ordinances were transferred to the Office of the City Clerk upon the borough's annexation in 1926.
The map print of Knoxville made by the borough's engineer, William McClurg Donley, was separated from Pittsburgh City Council records (bill 497, 1918). A copy of the bill, consisting of a communication from Knoxville Councilmember John P. Findley to Pittsbuirgh City Council, is included with the map.
