Subseries 1: General Planning Records, 1953-1993 (bulk 1972-1989)

Subseries 1 contains reports created or received by the URA regarding urban planning, both locally and nationally. Material in this subseries generally pertains to planning initiatives in broad context; for example, some of the reports focus on Renaissance II-era goals from the 1980s, particularly the revitalization of Downtown and other business districts. Specific development projects can be found in a separate series (Series 10, Redevelopment Project Reports).
