The Pittsburgh Neighborhood Atlas was a non-profit organization affiliated with the Pittsburgh Neighborhood Alliance, which was a federation of local community groups. Each atlas includes neighborhood history, boundary, population, survey data, crime statistics, and real estate information. The first group of booklets were released in March of 1977 at a forum in the Squirrel Hill branch of the Carnegie Library.
