Subseries 2 contains reports on the Community Renewal Program in Pittsburgh, which was created in the 1960s by the Department of City Planning by means of a federal grant. Its purpose was to create a program that highlighted and surveyed the “physical, economic, social, governmental” aspects of urban renewal and planning for Pittsburgh.
