Subseries 3 contains additional primary source material compiled and transcribed by the Commission and the Planning Department regarding legal title to land in the Point area, as well as a compilation of ordinances establishing streets and a report of land valuations (which was to facilitate land acquisition discussions for the purpose of establishing a National Historic Site). The transcriptions were compiled from a variety of sources including Allegheny County deed books, state acts, charters and court records. The subseries also includes duplicate copies of maps, graphs and plans that appear in Part One of the Commission’s report.
